Wuxing District Cultural and Sports Center, Huzhou
Wuxing district culture and sports center of Huzhou City is located in the grassy south of Wuxing district government. It is an important part of the eastern new town and an important cultural and sports complex planned by the government, including cultural center, library, gymnasium and other facilities.
The architectural form of the project is elegant and flexible. The lighting design starts from the local elements of Huzhou, extracts the elements such as Husi and Zhao Mengfu’s brushwork, uses the linear technique to depict the volume of the building’s turning and winding block surface, and creates a sense of suspension by means of floodlight for the heavy part of the sky, which becomes the landmark building of the eastern new town.
