The sales center of Zhongyuan Rongchuang Culture and Tourism City is located in the new plain area on the north bank of the Yellow River. As the symbol of the future ice and snow world of Rongchuang Culture and Tourism City, the lighting design expresses the pursuit and thinking of adults for nature, joy and fairy tale under the rational language in the name of dreams.
The project building body consists of 11 clustered cubes forming three groups, scattered on the still water landscape interface. This huge scale and architectural form is relatively rare among single sales centers, and what is more special is that the architects used digitally printed glass to express the figurative pattern of frost condensation, which seems to strictly delineate the theme or intuitive impression of the lighting performance of the structure in terms of image, but it is also this “proposition essay” challenge, only to stimulate the creation of lighting design in-depth thinking.
Lighting from the relationship between the building site and the intuitive feeling of the building as an entry point to water – water vapor vapor – condensation frost – refraction of light as the logic of the interpretation of the lighting design concept, the color of snow and ice from the impression of cold white to a richer color, and hope that this will be romantic, fun, eye-catching, and Exquisite visual impression conveyed to the audience.
In the specific lighting treatment, the lighting design, in order to maintain the integrity and transparency of the building facade, combined the installation position of the lamps with the building curtain wall maintenance road, and expressed the color glaze on the digitally printed glass with the form of internal lighting, and restored the overall sense of each “ice cube” with a layer-by-layer illumination method; in terms of color, in addition to blue and white tones, also from the ice flower In terms of color, in addition to blue and white tones, the blue and purple tones are also captured from the refracted iridescence, boldly allowing the dreamy sweet colors to slowly flow in the form of haloing and blending on the cube, highlighting the joyful scene required for the commercial marketing of the cultural tourism city from the design perspective
During the lighting debugging stage, many children playing in the square stopped and asked “Is this Princess Elsa’s castle?” It seems that only then the designer suddenly found that the night image of the building with the flow of light and the scene in “Frozen” has a secret match, it seems that, in addition to the intuitive visual aesthetics, the invisible value of lighting to bring people the initial touch and joy is regardless of borders, regardless of age, but also hope that this condensation of adults “dream” of the I hope that this building, which condenses the “dream-making” of adults, can bring the encounter of dreams to everyone.
